Twenty years is a long time in technology.

Twenty years ago, businesses worked very differently. Servers sat in offices. Files were stored locally. Remote working was unusual. Cyber security was a very different conversation, and Microsoft 365 as we know it today didn't exist.

But while technology has changed enormously, one thing hasn't changed for one Norwich recruitment agency we support: who they call when they need help with their IT.

For almost 20 years, we've looked after the technology behind their business, supporting their team through changing technology, changing ways of working and several office moves around Norwich.

Supporting a Norwich business through 20 years of change

During that time, we've helped the business through several office moves, including relocating from Norwich city centre to a business park on the outskirts of the city, followed years later by another move to new premises nearby.

Some moves are further than others, but wherever you're going, the important bit is the same: the IT needs to work when everyone gets there.

That means making sure connectivity is ready, networks and Wi-Fi are working, equipment is moved and configured correctly, communications are available and the team can access the systems they need with as little disruption as possible.

Alongside those physical moves, we've helped the business through an even bigger technological one.

Over almost two decades, the way businesses use technology has changed enormously. Servers and hardware have evolved, internet connectivity has transformed, Microsoft 365 and cloud services have changed where and how people work, and cyber security has become an increasingly important part of everyday business.
